I am hoping to sell enough of these 4 books- Genesis, Matthew, John and Revelation to allow me to be able to take the time to finish the other 4 books I am working on- Daniel, Job, Mark, and Luke.
Also, am working on a post for here that is unrelated to the Rhymespree Bible. It is going to be one of the most important I have ever shot/written, so please check back here soon for it.
Revelation
Chapter 6
The Seals
I watched, wide eyed, as the Lamb took His place,
He opened the first seal with a powerful grace!
And one living creature boomed loud as a drum,
With a voice like thunder, it said, “Come!”
And look! A white horse, swift as the breeze,
Its rider wore crowns with confident ease!
He held a bright bow, conquered and ran,
Out on his mission, fulfilling God’s plan!
The Lamb cracked the second seal open wide,
Another living creature called to those inside:
“Come!” and a red horse charged into the fray,
Its rider took peace from the world that day.
He brandished a sword, mighty in hand,
And people turned violent all over the land.
The Lamb broke the third seal with a crack and hum,
And the third living creature cried out, “Come!”
And there was a black horse, dark as a cave,
Its rider held scales, looking mighty grave.
Then came a voice, heavy and slow:
“A day’s work for wheat, not much to show!
A little more barley, but do take care.
Don’t harm the oil or wine that’s rare!”
The Lamb opened the fourth seal next.
The fourth living creature roared from his chest,
“Come!” A pale horse galloped into sight.
Upon it, Death, rode into the night.
And Hell followed close in his path.
Together they bore God’s mighty wrath.
A fourth of the earth was theirs to take,
By sword, by famine, beast, and quake.
When the fifth seal cracked, things shifted fast,
Under the altar were the martyrs amassed.
They cried with a shout, bold and strong:
“How long, Our Lord, until you sing our song.
Until You judge and make them repay.
For the blood they spilled on that fateful day?”
Each was given a robe so white,
And told to rest just one more night.
Until more brothers and sisters stand,
And join their cry with outstretched hands.
The Lamb broke the sixth seal, swiftly.
The earth shook just like a ship at sea.
The sun went black, like the darkest night.
And the moon turned red, a bloody sight.
Stars fell from the sky, down to the last.
The sky rolled up like a scroll folding fast.
Mountains toppled and the islands fled.
Men and women were filled with dread.
The kings and mighty, the rich and poor,
Running to the caves, they cried and swore:
“Fall on us, rocks! Hide us away,
From the wrath of the Lamb on this day!
For the Day has come, across the land.
In the face of this, who could withstand?”
