Written and performed by me, all parts. Why? Because it is way easier to learn to play all the instruments, be your own recording engineer, producer, graphic artist, rep, etc than it is to put a band together and somehow get along with them well enough and for long enough to get a song recorded.
I used to be so impressed by musicians like Trent Reznor who do it all. Then I quit the band I was playing in and gave it a try.
No longer impressed.
Honestly, doing it all yourself is the lazy way to do it. Requires only the minimum expenditure of effort and you end up with a sub par product vs what can be achieved through mutually assured conflict, collision, and creation.
Art requires pain and nothing is more painful than compromise.
