I can see where you are trying to go, here. I don’t know your story. Maybe you have come through much darkness to arrive at the optimistic place expressed in your piece.
I have not experienced much real darkness in my life. But I can honestly say that one of the things I want is to track down, disempower, and publicly shame every instigator, accomplice, and all whose ballots have helped to put us on the road to an amoral autocracy.
Some would call this a desire for vengeance, which only some in the U.S would claim to want. I call it a desire for justice, which almost all of us claim to want. But the justice we all want turns out to lead in wildly different directions. So I cannot agree that we all want the same things, and I have no idea whether or how those differences will be reconciled. But I am certain that, at best, it will involve a long, long, struggle full of unpleasant and expensive contention. Yeah, that angers me. It was all so unnecessary.
One more point. Since the election in 2000, no legitimate ballots, cast by anyone, have had any effect on who gets put in office or what they do there. The ballots have not counted for anything or anyone. The only ones responsible for those people and and the policies voted into office are the ones who counted and certified the votes and they must definitely be brought to justice.

Yeah, I have survived a lot of darkness. My story can be found through out this site, from the about page to a lot of the articles. Now here are a couple things you should probably know about me.
I firmly believe that justice must be done though the pillars of heaven fall. That means that justice is more important than society or mine or any of our lives. Even if we do correct things, if we fail to track down and bring to justice those responsible for our current state of governance and the crimes that gained it so much power, all we are doing is taking a few steps backwards. We a not fixing anything. Merely putting the problems we caused or allowed to happen onto our children and grandchildren who do not deserve the burden of our sins.
This article is not optimistic or feel good. It is my way of telling everyone that now is when we must act and that we are all we can rely onto help us. But we are enough. We have to be. And if we are not, it doesn't matter. We won't be here to regret our actions.

Like I said, I have been through a lot of darkness and I know it is going to get a lot worse before there is a single day that is better than now. That fact is regardless of whether or not we do anything, but at least by doing something, we gain the possibility of ever having a better day ever again. That alone makes it worth it.

I am a biological entity, likely a product of malificent eugenics and possibly derelict patents, though it's likely true that I was born of two well-meaning yet relatively naive parents; locked in a panopticon against my will by the state ostensibly for some measure of my own protection, while surrounded by murderers and insane retarded cowardly and/or confused people at every turn , meanwhile various proxies of ancient evil hegemons enjoy a neverending blood orgy; apart from trading in souls and/or flesh , the next most evidently important currency seems to be lies. Third most important galactic real currency seems to be cocaine.
