In order for the teetotalers to get the wicked devil juice off the shelves and out of the bloodstreams of its poor victims, they had to push for and finally receive a Constitutional Amendment. So, why is it that the US government believes it does not need such an establishment of authority in order to prohibit other chemicals that people like to put into themselves?
This is my primary argument against the War on Drugs, which has always been more accurately described as the War on Personal Liberties. I do not see anywhere in the US Constitution where any of the 3 branches of the federal government are given the authority to kidnap, humiliate, and forcibly indenture for forced labor anyone for the chemicals in their bloodstream or taped to the bottom of their cars. Sans a new amendment, all drugs should be immediately considered legal and available for sale. Regulation of manufacturing and chemical purity of said drugs are permissible under the Interstate Commerce Clause, and can be structured based on authorities annexed via the many bills/laws commonly referred to as the Food and Drug Act, but prohibition and criminalization are not on the table for these control freaks to enslave anyone.
How does this differ from decriminalization? Well, decrim is moot since the government does not have the authority to keep you from hurting yourself as was established during the liquor prohibition era. Decrim is also easily manipulated to aggregate further unconstitutional authorities.
Take a look at how it has been used in places like Portland, Or and Vancouver, Canada. By subsidizing the worst behaviors of users and by ignoring established state level public behavior laws, they have been able to paint a false reality of what a decriminalized city might look like. With fentanyl gymnasts (More on this below) holding impossible positions and free used needles filling the gutters.
Why have public intoxication laws at the state level been ignored. Alcohol is a legal drug, but one can not-
go into a bar,
buy a drink,
carry the drink out of the bar,
sit on the hood of their car
and enjoy it,
Can they? Why not? Because we as a society do not likely having wasted people hanging out all over the place. We prefer them to concentrate their activities in their homes and dark, seedy bars. We also do not hand out free boda bags and shot glasses at the county or city levels of government. So, why are we treating decriminalized substances differently than we treat alcohol?
Because they damn well knew what the effects would be of their subsidies and their failure to enforce behavioral standards for the chemical users. They wanted to portray chaos and so they did. Not only the natural chaos of chemical substance use, but they even went so far as to hire people of exceptional physical skill and strength to stand in front of their cameras and contort as if they were deeply in the ravages of drug addiction.
Here is a simple test. The next time you see humans folded into weird shapes on the evening news, try to attain and maintain any of those bizarre positions while awake and sober. You will fail. Try it again while falling asleep and you will fail faster. It is an incredibly hard earned skill to hold yourself upright, but askew to your center of gravity for extended periods of time. People passing out on opiates, fall down on the ground. They do not become professional level contortionists.
Seriously, please try to attain any one of the “fentanyl folded” positions seen so often in newscasts covering the manufactured chaos of decriminalization. You will not, without a great deal of dedication, ever achieve any one of those positions and you will most certainly never become skilled enough to maintain that position during a nap.
Question- why are there junkies available for the news to capture, doing just that on the sidewalks of Portland every day?
Answer- there aren’t any junkies being filmed doing that. Those are professional gymnasts gone bad. Fucking sell outs!
I will go into more detail on Constitutional prohibition, as well as the camera friendly contortionists at a later time. So, please check back often. Also, please think about what I’ve said and believe nothing you see on TV. In fact, kill your fucking TV. It is hurting you and making you both look and in reality, become stupid.
