Recently, I have received a few messages from people stating a desire to support my efforts here. Also, one actual pledge came in. These interested individuals made me weigh the pros and cons of adding one or two paid subscription tiers. Being that 90% of my “Life’s Work” is done for zero monetary gain*, I figured “What the Hell. Accept it when offered!”

The 5 books of the Rhymespree Bible are available on Amazon, but until I sell some unknown number of them, Amazon will not suggest them to anyone and the only way anyone can find them there is if they know exactly what to type into the search box, ie. “The Rhymespree Bible by Andi Vendetta West”. So, sales have been.. um.. lackluster is a good term for the sales total.
Catering events that I do are invariably for things like memorial services for the deceased relatives of friends and similar pro bono events, so not making any money there.
My successes in alt-media publishing have been oddly timed, such as the 50 million downloads of my 911 movie, The Produced Reality” happened the same year that Google bought Youtube. Needless to say, I was self hosting the video. So, the viral success actually cost me a fortune in bandwidth fees (along with a marriage and everything I owned at the time) which I do not believe I have actually paid off yet.
And my inability to pester people for moneys owed for IT and tech work means I have only ever been paid for about 30% of my invoiced “payments due” during my professional work in that field. I also, never made a dime for the 2 IT Security books I co-authored (Read as, I authored under someone else’s brand).
I know, this is 100% on me. I just can’t bring myself to demand to be paid for my work. I think it is a combination of severe imposter’s syndrome, plus a general disinterest in financial gain. I don’t actually believe money has any intrinsic value and it can all disappear in a day, no matter how hard one works to accumulate it.
And those are my reasons for enabling payments on the small chance that I may make a buck or two, but I most definitely will not be pay-walling anything I write or publish here because I am writing and publishing here for the purpose of disseminating alternative information regarding global events and the corruption of our systems and governments.
