I bought a 02 monitor for my home firdt aid kit. The price had come down to an affordable $10. But, it reads 4 points low. Now, that's ok. It's in the ballpark. But only because my lungs are in excellent condition. But applied to snyone with marginal 02 and they'd be considered hypoxic. And they only needed a small percentage of patients to be false hypoxic for the scam to work.

Most blood oxygen meters are made in China, and unlike other electronic medical test & measurement equipment, there's no calibration requirement for 02 meters. Millions could be distributed around the world and put into use without anyone the wiser.

Unscrupulous doctors could pull a similar trick with automated blood pressure readers. They always read high in error, never low, due to their innate design, just as the 02 meter can never read too high The bracelet blood pressure reader is particularly error prone. They're a novelty. Junk.

High blood pressure by itself or combined with other stars like a high BMI enables them to push statins, blood pressure meds, CPAP machines, stents, and other unnecessary drugs & treatments.

Always demand that the nurse test your blood pressure manually. Protect the accuracy of your medical records.

I wish I'd been more proactive in protecting the accuracy of my medical records when i was younger. When i finally did get a view of them in their totallity, there was almost nothing that represented my current physical or mental health states.

I had a diagnosis of extreme bi polar disorder from a doc who's entire history with me involved less than 10 minutes and ended with him having a violent tantrum all over his own office. But yeah, with that kind of interaction and i wallked awaywith an allegedly permanent psychosis diagnosis. There are zero ways to remedy that outside of metasploit or similar tools.
